2014 League Championship Host Bids

Here is the bid form for the 2014 League Championships:

If you have trouble opening it, send me an e-mail and I will send you a copy.  Bids are due by September 1st, 2013 unless someone needs additional time to secure a locations, etc.  Please let me know if this is the case, we want the best Championship possible.  Information on voting on the bids will be available soon.  If you are a KC League gym or coach, please make sure I have the most updated contact information for you.

Entry Deadline: March 1st, 2013 (no refunds will be issued)

Entry Fees:
Team: $30/team
Individual: $45/gymnasts
  
Awards:
Team: All teams with paid entry will receive a trophy.
Individual Event: At least the top 3 will receive a medal & place all the way out with ribbons.
Individual All-Around: All participants will receive a placement and a trophy.

Age Groups:
Size: Please split the age groups by age as of the Championship. Maximum size = 19.
Qualifying: Everyone is encouraged to participate in at least 2 league meets.
Introductions: All participants will be individually announced & presented during march-in.

NOTES:
In accordance with the league guidelines, for levels 3 & 4: "Out of consideration for other
teams, if your gymnast is consistently scoring above 36.0, please move to Gold."

The drop back deadline is February 1st.

The 2012-2013 League Guidelines

 A few notes: 

• There will be no bonus for level 3 this year.
• Level 3 & 4 will still be split into division, please be considerate when entering you kids.  Gymnasts scoring 36 or higher should be gold.
• Host gyms may not guarantee awards to any late entries (that includes late payments)

Level 3 Gold/Silver clarification

At the league meeting it was decided that Level 3 would be split into two division.  The coach has the discretion to choose which division to enter his or her gymnasts; however, level 3 silver gymnasts will NOT be awarded bonus.  They may perform the bonus skills and be judged on them but will not receive the .3 bonus. 

The league guidelines have been updated appropriately.

If you have level 3 silver gymnasts entered in the upcoming meet at Rebound please refer to the e-mail from Sheri for clarification.  All future league meets will follow the rules decided upon at the league meeting.
